IT’S THE TRUTH!! It’s always something!! And “something” has a value to infinity and beyond. We live as though the “something’s” in our midst will one day disappear and allow us perfect peace. Our “something’s” become excuses which become options which actually allow us to create habits that inhibit our life goals! It’s almost a right of passage…a cross we carry. “Traffic was just awful!” We lament as we miss an appointment, skip a meeting or show up late to an event. Fill in the blank with whatever you like. And everyone will agree just how tough you have it. But let’s rather accept the obvious. As long as we are breathing on this Earth there will always be a “something” to blame. So instead of letting “something” get in your way…choose to use it to make you more resilient and more determined. Maybe more focused on obtaining the goal you were working on in the first place….do you even remember what that was???
